Operationalizing E-Prescribing

E-prescribing software is not distinguishable from the face of the various EMR platforms in use in healthcare settings. The software provides the connectivity between the EMR and  Pharmacy Management Systems.

It is absolutely essential that all nurses have up to date information and education about the local EMR and its use prior to engaging in any element of e-prescribing practice.
