Data Collection and Decision-Making
The ICT functionalities of data collection and decision making overlap and serve synergetic purposes to provide nurses with the information to make evidenced, clinical decisions related to health care actions (Ketcham, McBride, Tietz, & Padden, 2016) – and potentially to generate new models of care where patients can interact with their healthcare in new and different ways.
